Concepts

Description of the main concepts used by Strio.

Services

Strio is organized around services and is mostly build to test them. A service represents an independent applicative component of your application. Services configuration are composed of the service's containers, the service's dependencies, the data to provision the dependencies and service links.

Services links

You may need other services to test yours. Service links are thought for that. Choose the services and their versions that you want to deploy with your service.

Templates

A template is a preset configuration of your service. It is composed of the service's containers, the service's dependencies, the data to provision the dependencies and service links.

Environments

Environments are derived from services. When you want to test a service, you can deploy an environment directly from one of the templates of your service.
